Questions you might have.
*How long does it take to get qualified?
If you are a quick learner, taken everything in and past the test you could be qualified in as little as two months.
*What qualification and title do I get?
You will be a certified “MSK …. Academy Practitioner“. For example if you do the Lower Back Level 1, you will be “MSK Academy Lower Back Level 1 practitioner”.
*Can I just do the level 2?
To be qualified at level 2 you must first complete your level 1.
*Will I be insured to treat?
Yes, you will just need to get professional indemnity insurance through a company such as Towergate Insurance or inform your current provider. You will also need to register with the MSK Academy.
*I am not personal trainer, can I still do the course?
Yes as long as you have training in a field which covers basic anatomy and physiology, if you are unsure please send us your qualifications and a tutor will look into it.
*I am very busy and can’t get to training days.
Not to worry, you can come to our training clinic, we can come to you, we also offer Skype based sessions.
*How does the home learning work?
You will be given all the literature to work through at your own pace, the practical days will go through the practical elements in the literature.
*How will I be examined?
You will have to do 40 case studies which are checked by a tutor and a short exam when you are ready.
*Can I view a practitioner in action?
Yes, you are more than welcome to come to our teaching clinic in Southampton (BodyWorx Health Clinic)
